Havercroft with Cold Hiendley Parish Council

Minutes of the Extraordinary Meeting of Havercroft-with-Cold Hiendley Parish Council held at Solid Rock Church on Thursday 28^th October 2021 at 7:00 p.m.

Present: Councillors M Beecher and R Cotton, District Councillor M Cummings

Minute 44           Declarations of Interest

None were declared.

Minute 45           To approve the minutes of the meeting held on 13^th October 2021

The minutes were moved by Cllr Cummings and seconded by Cllr Beecher.

Minute 46          Public Representations

There were no public representations as this was a closed meeting.

Minute 47           Co-option of new councillors

Three of the original six applicants attended the co-option meeting and one by one, was given the opportunity to explain why they wanted to become councillors, followed by a question and answer session. 

A vote was proposed by Cllr Beecher and seconded by Cllr Cummings, all three candidates were unanimously accepted onto the Council.

The new councillors signed the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

Cllrs Cummings and Manifield were thanked for their help and Cllr Cummings formally resigned from the Council.

The meeting closed at 7.50pm
