Minutes of the Extra Meeting of Havercroft-with-Cold Hiendley Parish Council held at Havercroft & Ryhill Community Centre on Thursday, 21st November at 7.00 p.m.

Minute 54 Declarations of Interest
There were no declarations of interest.
Minute 55 To Approve the minutes of the meeting held on 17th October 2024
The minutes of the meeting held on 17th October 2024 were approved.
Minute 56 Public Representations
It was noted that P Stockhill had resigned prior to the meeting and he was thanked for all his work both as a parish councillor and as Chairman.
Minute 57 2025/26 Budget Discussion

- The External Audit Report and additional email was noted and it was agreed to continue with Account-ant (Yorkshire) Ltd as the internal auditor.

- It was agreed to meet with the Havercroft & Ryhill Community Learning Centre representatives to discuss increased co-operation, new lease and future grants to enable the centre to continue to provide good community support.

- There has been increased spending on the allotment sites this year, especially Brier Lane and in order to offset part of this cost, it was agreed to increase rents of large plots to £40 per annum and smaller plots to £30 per annum.

- The Sports & Recreation budget will be reduced to £2,000 for next year’s budget.

- The Clerk’s pay was increased in line with NALC guidelines for Band 19 and backdated to April 2024 (the Clerk was absent during the discussion but was reminded that they should complete the CiCLA by July 2025). It was also agreed to increase the number of hours worked to 18 hours per week.

- The Draft Budget for 2025/26 was agreed in principle with no precept increase on this year.

- The Christmas tree invoice was agreed.
