Minutes of the Monthly Meeting of Havercroft-with-Cold Hiendley Parish Council held at The Havercroft & Ryhill Learning Centre on Wednesday the 11th October 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Councillors P Stockhill, M Beecher, M Rusling, the Clerk and one member of the public.

Minute 35 Declarations of Interest
None
Minute 36 To approve the minutes of the parish council meeting on 13th September 2023
The minutes were approved (Proposed By Cllr Beeching and Seconded by Cllr Rusling).
Minute 37 Public Representations
A representative from SWS Football attended the meeting to request funding for next year’s activities at a total of £1250. Councillors agreed that funds from the Sport and Recreation Budget would be used to partly fund the five events.
Minute 38 District Councillor’s Report
The road signs on Church Lane have been reported as they are overgrown.
Police are aware of car fires in Brooklands.
Winn View is not going to be an asylum centre.
Minute 39 Finance and Banking
The Draft Budget for 2024-25 was agreed.
The Clerk was awarded a pay increase of 5% back dated to April 2023.
Minute 40 Havercroft & Ryhill Learning Centre
The Parish Council is awaiting an update from the Consultant regarding Heads of Terms for the new lease.
Minute 41 Allotments
Mr C asked if he could remove and re-position a shed, Council agreed.
Following correspondence from WMDC, Cllr Rusling has removed 37 rats using dogs, at the Wimpey Allotments.
There was a complaint regarding the behaviour of an allotment holder. It was agreed that the Clerk would write to the leasee concerned and remind them of the Terms and Conditions.
Minute 42 Rycroft Leisure
Cllr Stockhill attended the Rycroft Leisure meeting and has offered to join the committee as two current members will be leaving after Christmas.
Minute 43 Rycroft Leisure
Cllr Stockhill will attend the next Rycroft Leisure meeting.
Minute 44 Open Spaces & Green Spaces
Minute 45 Correspondence
WMDC has contacted the Council regarding land available for charging points but it was decided that they wouldn’t be appropriate for the Parish at this time.
It was agreed to renew the contract with Cathedral Hygiene.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 13th December 2023 at the Havercroft and Ryhill Community Learning Centre at 7pm.
