Minutes of the Meeting of Havercroft-with-Cold
Hiendley Parish Council held at Havercroft & Ryhill Community Centre on Wednesday,
11th December at 7.00 p.m.
Present: Councillors M Beecher, Y Lowe, C Rawlings, M Rusling (Chair), Clerk
Apologies: Cllr M Cooper
Minute 59 Declarations of Interest
Cllrs Lowe and
Rusling declared an interest in Item 8.
Minute 60 To Approve the minutes of the meeting held on 2024
The minutes of the
meeting held on 21st November 2024 were approved.
Minute 61 Public Representations
A resident has contacted the Chair
regarding a tree on the boundary at the Railway Cutting.
Minute 62 District Councillor’s Report
No District Councillors
were in attendance so the Clerk highlighted issues from a previous report:
i)
Buses – Cllr Ali has agreed to speak with Arriva
ii)
Footpaths – Cllr Cummings is investigating.
iii)
It was agreed to speak with district councillors
regarding the high number of accidents at the bottom of The Green.
Minute 63 Finance and IT
i)
Councillors
formally approved the Draft Budget for 2025/26 and noted that there was no
increase in precept on the current year.
ii)
Supplier
payments were approved including Scribe £673.92
Minute 64 Havercroft & Ryhill Community Learning Centre
The Chair and Clerk will meet with
the centre manager in the new year to discuss improvements including a new fire
door.
Minute 65 Allotments
The allotment rent will be increased
to £40 for standard size plots and £30 for the smaller ones.
Minute 66 Open Spaces & Green Spaces
Cllr Rusling to walk the paths into Bushwood
on Friday.
Clerk to email Cllr Cummings
regarding the bollards down at the top of The Green.
The Christmas Carols Around the Tree
will be held on 22nd December 2024 at 5pm.
