Minutes of the meeting of Havercroft-with-Cold Hiendley Parish Council held in Havercroft and Ryhill Community Learning Centre on Wednesday 10 October 2018 at 7.00 pm.

Councillor A Manifield informed members that Malcolm Neill Clerk to the Council had received a Long Service Award from the President of The Society of Local Council Clerks David Preston FSLCC at the National Conference in Lincolnshire in appreciation of his outstanding service to the members of the Society and to the Clerks Profession.
Councillor A Manifield presented an award to Mr and Mrs Brown who were the winners of the best kept allotment on Brier Lane Allotment site.
Councillor A Manifield introduced Javid Khan from Wakefield Council who gave a presentation on the PEAT Project.
Javid Khan said this was a Community Project covering the South East of the District which includes Havercroft.
The PEAT Committee was formed in 2015/2016 and is made up from Local Action Groups whose objectives are to support workforce development, connection of people by looking at barriers to employment, Innovative Solutions and to Reach Engagement away from employment.
The Coalfield Regeneration Trust also has funding called Coalfields Community Investment funds which covers projects for revenue and salaries funding.

The minutes of the monthly meeting held on the 12 September 2018 and 3 October 2018 were moved by Councillor E Brown and seconded by Councillor P Stockhill and were confirmed as a correct record.

The accounts for September 2018 in the sum of £4,210.28 were presented to members and moved by Councillor Mrs C Saul seconded by Councillor E Brown and confirmed as a correct record.

Minute 67. World War 1 Memorial
The War Memorial and the four seats reflecting WW1 have now been positioned on Havercroft Green. The fencing and footpath works will commence shortly.
Minute 68. Dog Fouling
The Street Scene response was negative but the bin has been replaced outside the Chemists.
Councillor E Brown to liaise with a Parish in Cambridgeshire on a recent project that they have undertaken.
The Clerk to look into introducing a Bye Law on Dog Fouling.
An item to be included on the November Agenda.

Traffic Bollard on Havercroft Green has been damaged. Amey are aware.
