In the absence of the Chairman Councillor Mrs C Saul Vice Chairman presided over the meeting.

Minute 16.   Minutes of the meeting held on the 12 April 2017

The minutes of the monthly meeting held on the 12 April 2017 were moved by Councillor R Massey and seconded by Councillor E Brown and were confirmed as a correct record.

Minute 18.  Finance

(a)  April 2017 Accounts

The accounts for March 2017 in the sum of £10,989.75 were presented to members and moved by Councillor J Shaw and seconded by Councillor E Brown and confirmed as a correct record.

(b)   Yorkshire Internal Audit

Yorkshire Internal Audit submitted a report on the internal audit of accounts for 2016 €“ 2017 which was discussed by the Council.

Resolved:  That the report be received and forwarded to the External Auditor.

Yorkshire Internal Audit be authorised to carry out the internal audit for 2017/2018

(c)    Annual Report 2016 -2017

(i)    The Annual Governance Statement was approved and signed by the Chairman

(ii)    The Statement of accounts were approved and signed by the Chairman

(iii)   The Statement of variance was approved

(iv)   The Bank Reconciliation was approved

Yorkshire Water.  Disconnection of water to the Wimpey allotment site.

Resolved:  That a donation of £100 be forwarded to the Prince of Wales Hospice

Minute 22.   Havercroft and Ryhill Community Learning Centre

One of the Business Units which has been used for storage requires painting following water damage on the walls.

Resolved:  That the room be redecorated.

The broken fencing around the pond has been repaired.
