Havercroft and Ryhill Community Learning Centre

The learning centre was established in 1990 as Havercroft Skills Project. The Project changed it’s name in 2008 to reflect the work of the centre. We are a registered charity and offer a range of services and facilities to our local communities.

The Learning Centre acts as a hub for the local community

Community Cafe

Every morning is a coffee morning here at the centre. The cafe is open for you to enjoy during the week.

Community Cabin

A range of items that is nearing or just past it's sell by date. Household items are donated by residents, food is donated by local supermarkets.

Community Garden

Our community garden is being developed into a vegetable and fruit garden where we can grow our own food to serve in the cafe.

Food Bank

For people who may be struggling to purchase food and toiletries. The food bank is one part of a range of support that we can offer.

(followed by Bingo and a Raffle for those wishing to take part)
Flower Arranging Group - Monday 10-12 noon
Computer Courses - Monday 0930 - 2pm
Gab & Dab. Tuesday 1pm - 2.30pm

For carers and those with additional needs, a warm friendly welcome atmosphere awaits. Meet new people and have a game of bingo. Free refreshments.

Sewing Group - Wednesday 10am - 12 noon

Community Groups

Everything across the page is FREE with the exception of the lunch club which is £4.50 for a 2 course meal and refreshments.

Library and other services

We are home to your local community library where you can access hundreds of books.

Membership is free and open to all. Please ask at reception, we do not issue fines for late returns.

Computer Access

We have a computer located in Reception for local people to access during our opening hours, free of charge
