The minutes of the monthly meeting held on the 20th September 2017 were moved by Councillor R Massey and seconded by Councillor J Shaw and were confirmed as a correct record.

(a) September 2017 Accounts
The accounts for September 2017 in the sum of £3,664.26 were presented to members and moved by Councillor R Massey and seconded by Councillor A Manifield and confirmed as a correct record.
(b) Budget Estimates for 2018-2019
A report on the budget estimates to be presented to the November meeting.
Christmas Decorations.
The present features are passed their life span and it is proposed to purchase new features for 2018. It was agreed that 5k should be included in the Budget Estimates for 2018.
Minute 61. Correspondence
(a) Wakefield Branch Meeting 26 October 2017 at Havercroft.
(b) Defibrillators. District Councillors attended a presentation on Defibrillators and it was agreed to discuss this at the Parish Council meeting. Defibrillators cost in the region of £1275 plus Vat plus installation and £200 for the cost of training and that a defibrillator should be made available in Havercroft. It may be possible to obtain grants towards the purchase of a Defibrillator.
Resolved: It was moved by Councillor R Massey and seconded by Councillor J Shaw and unanimously approved that the Parish Council purchase one Difibulator at an estimated cost of £2,000 pond including training.

Currently there are no vacant plots.
Minute 65. Havercroft Pond
Agenda item for the November meeting. To inform residents of Greenside on the course of action to be taken to remove the weeds.
Discussion to take place with the Wakefield Biodiversity Group.
Parish Matters
Supply of litter bins outside Jacks Fish and Chip shop and near the injury clinic both on Cow Lane
The shop on Cow Lane which is being improved is cause for concern and various Departments of the District Council are becoming involved together with West Yorkshire Police.
