Minute 28. Declaration of Interest

Minute 29. Minutes of the meeting held on the 10 May 2017
The minutes of the monthly meeting held on the 10 May 2017 were moved by Councillor R Massey and seconded by Councillor I Sanders subject to the following amendments: Minute 18 replace March with April and J Shaw for R Massey and were confirmed as a correct record.
The minutes of the Annual meeting were moved by Councillor R Massey and seconded by Councillor I Sanders and were confirmed as a correct record.
Minute 30. District Councillors Reports
Havercroft and Ryhill Fun Day is to be held on Thursday 10 August, from 11.00 am to 3 pm. This event has been well supported by stall holders with various other rides and activities.
Kids Kitchen is to be held every Tuesday in August.
Feed the family for a fiver will be held in September.
Some work has been carried out on the row of shops but the District Council is in the process of acquiring them.
Minute 31. Finance
(a) May 2017 Accounts
The accounts for May 2017 in the sum of £772.31 were presented to members and moved by Councillor R Massey and seconded by Councillor I Sanders and confirmed as a correct record.
Minute 32. CAB
The Parish Council unanimously voted to withdraw from providing accommodation and services to CAB if they were to use the Community Learning Centre, this would have a financial implication on the Centre when funding for the centre has been withdrawn by the Adult Education service.
Minute 33. Correspondence
(a) Prince of Wales Hospice Acknowledgement Noted.
(b) SLCC Regional Training Seminar Barnsley.
Resolved: That the Clerk be authorised to attend the Regional Training
Seminar
(c) Notification of advertising Casual Vacancy. Noted
(d) YLCA Wakefield Branch meeting 8 June 2017 – Papers circulated
to the Parish Council representatives.
Minute 34. Planning
No planning applications or determinations.
Minute 35. Havercroft and Ryhill Community Learning Centre
Feed the Family for a fiver, Fun Day and Kids Kitchen are being organised during August and September.
A grant has been awarded to provide English and Maths courses and funding has been obtained from NOVA for what people think of the art/culture in the area.

Minute 37. Allotments
The flooding work has now been completed in the sum of £1,145.00

Weeding of the pond is to be carried out.
