Minutes of the Meeting of Havercroft-with-Cold Hiendley Parish Council held at Solid Rock Church on Wednesday 9th March 2022 at 7:15 p.m.

Minute 86 Declarations of Interest
None were declared.
Minute 87 To approve the minutes of the Meeting held on 17th February 2022
Resolved to approve the minutes of the meeting held on Thursday, 17th January 2022 proposed by Cllr Thomas and seconded by Cllr Cotton.
The minutes of the extraordinary meeting that was held on Tuesday, 22nd February 2022 were also approved. They were proposed by Cllr Beecher and seconded by Cllr Flynn.
Minute 88 Public Representations
There was a request from a member of the public for permission to use a metal detector on parish council land. The request was declined.
Minute 89 District Councillors’ Report
Cllr Cummings emailed the DC report:
There have been no updates from WMDC regarding the East St allotments
New signage to Fitzwilliam bridge has been agreed.
LED replacements for Havercroft lamp columns will take place in March and April 2022.
Fly tipping on the Green has been reported and two prosecutions are in progress.
A litter pick was carried out in Hatfield Place and the area was cleared.
Minute 90 Finance and Banking
Attendees were made aware of the current bank balances and that WMDC has approved the Budget. The Precept will be paid in one lump sum.
Minute 91 Update on Allotments
It was agreed to increase the annual rent to £30 for 2023/24 – this will be included in the new lease.
Cllrs Flynn and Stockhill did not take part in the vote.
Minute 92 Learning Centre & Business Units
Cllr Stockhill has made repairs to broken fittings.
Minute 93 Open Spaces and Green Spaces
Cllr Thomas has planted trees around Rycroft Leisure Centre and Cllr Stockhill is in the process of making repairs to the Millenium Garden.
Minute 94 Special Events-joint Jubilee celebration
Cllr Beecher has written the Risk Assessment for insurance purposes, it was agreed to hold the event on Parish Council land and all further items will be discussed by the Jubilee sub-group on 15th March 2022.
